| East meets West |
Integration Our Clinic is devoted to integrating a holistic approach of Eastern and Western Medicine. Because we exist in a western culture, we are creating a bridge that allows for the relief of pain in an non-evasive manner that relies on the body’s own healing potentials. For instance, injection therapies have been part of Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) since bamboo shoots were used to inject herbal substances. Dr. Wah Tou, our most famous Dr. of TCM, performed surgery by cutting open a patient and working on their intestines, while using acupuncture as a local aesthetic. The point being, we are still a non-evasive clinic and we respect the TCM method of maintaining good health by using the ancient 2,000 year old TCM method. In addition we use other natural methods of healing such as enriched platelet therapy and meso therapy.Pain occurs either in the muscles, tendons, bones, skin, blood vessels or nerve pathways (meridians). With pain, you might have been told you have arthritis, but what you have never been told is how and why that has happened. It might have been a toxin, immune or bone disorder, or a tendon condition. Drug therapy will not treat the condition, it will suppress the body’s ability to heal and restore the tissue function. Your body has a memory of health and by restoring your cell tissue and memory, your body can heal itself. Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Prolotherapy and Enriched Platelet Therapy are safe and effective methods to provide the ultimate restorative health without anti-inflammatory drugs. |
