Trigger Point Therapy

Our Clinic evolved into a pain clinic, after increasing evidence and training in the use of Trigger Point Therapy. Dr. Rod LeBlanc's professional training in Trigger Point Therapy for Myofascial Pain was taught by Dr. Hal Blatman Clinical Director of the Hal Blatman Pain Clinic in Cincinnati.

 

Dr. Hal Blatman is Board Certified in Pain Management and in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is Past President of the American Holistic Medical Practitioners Association and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Hal was trained by Dr. Janet Travell M.D. Who was the personal physician to Past - President John F. Kennedy.

 

Dr. Rod LeBlanc was further trained in Biopuncture and Trigger Point Therapy for Myofascial Pain by Dr. J.E. Williams. Dr. J.E. Williams, OMD Physician, Course Director of the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine and Fellow of the American Academy of Integrated Medicine.

 

Trigger Point Therapy Training requires direct hands on palpation, extensive knowledge of anatomy and muscle structure functions and symptoms to determine trigger point pain patterns and release techniques with injections. Although many books have been written on trigger point therapy direct one on one contact and training is essential in its proper muscle grasping and needle insertion to achieve satisfactory results in the elimination of pain.

Qi Gong Therapy

Medical Qi Gong treatment has been officially recognized as a standard medical technique in Chinese hospitals since 1989. It has been included in the curriculum of major universities in China.
